Wow, for a second there I had to think of what year it was. It seems time had flown by since the Haters started stinking up all the places we've played. Which brings me to something I think I must address right now.

There's been some talk going around that we have, or are planning on breaking up. This just ain't true, people! Just like any band out there who has been together as long as we have, we NUMBER ONE: do on occasion tend to get on each others nerves, NUMBER TWO: have things happen in our personal lives that might affect the band, NUMBER THREE: have disagreements on certain things, and the list goes on. But, we've never told anyone we're calling it quits. That ain't gonna happen. We might not be the best musicians, heck, we sure ain't the best band you ever saw. But, we know we have something good going on between the three of us.

You also might have noticed the site being down for so long. My fault. I'd been planning on updating it, then I started a new job which grabbed a lot of free time away from anything creative. For months! So, now that I'm getting settled in I can get some web work completed. This might have made some think we broke up as well. Now you know.

Some might have heard about my side band thing and thought THAT was why we were breaking up. Nope. I just like to play. We really don't have a name yet (maybe American Posse), but it's a modern country band in the vein of Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and Montgomery Gentry. I'm just the drummer. I get to sit down to play and sing backups, which is fun! It has an all-star line-up with dudes from other bands in the area like Steve Nelso (ex-Green Eggs guitarist), Phil Cannizzaro (ex-Creamsicle) on bass from Empty Pockets, and Greg DeShong on guitar from Screaming Daisy's. We'll only be playing out once, maybe twice a month so as to not interfere with our main band's schedules.

Suffice it to say, Love Haters will be around for awhile. We're starting to get back to rehearsing more often, so look out for some new twisted cover songs that you love us for. If I get around to it I might have some new t-shirts available soon. Yea right, Trent.

We played a great show for a great company last week. The company is GGS in York, PA and we played the annual corporate party. Held at the Yorktowne Hotel, it was a very posh event. This was a our second year in a row that we've played for them. There were two other bands that played before us, the always slick Extremity and a great sounding band from Wilkes-Barre named NYTB (New York Times Band). We want to thank everyone from GGS who made us feel welcome and danced along to us.

Trent says: Yea, well it's takes awhile to create a simple ass-website!

Sorry it took so long to get the Love Haters website redesigned and online. We've been very busy with our personal lives, but now we're back and ready to kick more booty than before! We're learning a bunch of new tunes and we even have an awesome new Johnny Star tune called "25" which we hope to record for inclusion on this here website.

Seeing as how all of our lives are so busy there might not be too much actual blogging as we did in the past in our Diary section, plus we need some new places to play to actually write about. We're working on that too. There will be pics added as before, so tune in to see your ugly mug right here.
